A little setup:
It is the first of Growfest. It is a windy, cloudy day and the temperature is only 7 degrees Lydia (same as Celcius). The cool wind is coming out of the North, but luckily the trees of the Gamboge Forest protect you. (Think of a cold day in March for time of year and feel of the weather)
You are on a caravan headed to Ogburg in the Theocracy of the Pale. You all have your various reasons for being in the caravan. The last civililized place that you were in was Womthan in the Kingdom of Nyrond.
The path through the Gamboge Forest isn't the safest, according to some of the residents of Womthan, but your caravan driver Arymur Rowurr assures you that he is "old friends with the elves" and seems confident that the caravan will be safe. He has hired a company of 4 adventurers on horseback to accompany the caravan, and they seem quite confident.
Have a look at the caravan as shown below. Choose the place where you wish to ride. Those not choosing will have a place chosen for them.
